Think of your LinkedIn account as having a reputation score. LinkedIn does not show you that score, and nobody outside LinkedIn knows exactly how it works. But the pattern is clear: your account builds or loses trust through what you do, how you do it, and how other people respond.
Linkedin Trust Score
This is why no third-party LinkedIn tool is risk-free. But we designed TalkToHumans to be the safest LinkedIn tool out there, even when it means saying no to convenient features. Here are the tradeoffs we make, on purpose:

1. LinkedIn actions only run from your browser

Every LinkedIn action is performed directly from the Chrome browser you’re already using. Unlike many automation tools, TalkToHumans doesn’t need to reproduce your browser environment on remote servers and mimic a browser fingerprint. LinkedIn simply sees the same browser, device, IP address, location, cookies, and session that it would if you clicked yourself. The tradeoff: your browser needs to be open for scheduled LinkedIn actions to run. If it is closed, the action waits. The benefit: technically, TalkToHumans is virtually undetectable. It behaves just like using LinkedIn normally, only with a different UI. This removes a major source of risk.

2. You cannot blast a list from the app

TalkToHumans doesn’t let you select 100+ people and apply the same message or sequence to all of them at once. Instead, you work through people one by one. Keyboard shortcuts, queues, and our blazing-fast UI make the process incredibly fast. The tradeoff: this requires more of your attention than launching a generic campaign. The benefit: you review everything that’s going to be sent. That means more relevant messages, fewer embarrassing mistakes, and a much better chance of getting a reply. LinkedIn limits your daily outreach anyways. Why waste those 20–30 daily actions on people you haven’t reviewed?

3. AI can prepare actions, but it cannot send them for you

TalkToHumans has an API and an MCP. They let your CRM, internal tools, and AI tools work with your LinkedIn contacts, conversations, notes, tags, views, and follow-ups. But they cannot directly send LinkedIn messages or connection requests. You can prepare drafts in bulk, review them inside TalkToHumans, and decide what should be sent. The final action stays in your browser and under your control. The tradeoff: you cannot tell an AI agent to message 500 people while you sleep. The benefit: you catch irrelevant drafts before your recipients do. Human review protects the quality of your messages, your reply rates, and your account reputation.

4. Minimal account activity

TalkToHumans uses your LinkedIn account only when an action depends on something unique to your account, such as your network, invitations, conversations, or a message to be sent. When data is not unique to your account, we do not use your LinkedIn session to collect it. For instance, TalkToHumans profile enrichment feature does not make your account visit profile after profile to enrich them. The tradeoff: TalkToHumans is not a general-purpose LinkedIn scraping engine. The benefit: your account performs fewer unnecessary actions, which gives LinkedIn fewer reasons to degrade your reputation score. You get the point: TalkToHumans is built for people whose LinkedIn account is too valuable to risk.
