TalkToHumans keeps permissions simple: admin and member. The first person in a new organization becomes an admin automatically. Anyone invited afterward joins as a member. An admin can change a person’s role under Settings β†’ Organization. Every organization must keep at least one admin, so TalkToHumans will not let you demote the last one (otherwise everyone would be locked out of the important stuff).

Invite a teammate

1

Open organization settings

Go to Settings β†’ Organization.
2

Invite the person

Enter their email address and send the invitation. They join the current workspace as a member.
3

Set the role

Keep them as a member for day-to-day work. Promote them to admin when they need to manage billing, users, roles, API keys, or reporting.
4

Agree on ownership

Create shared tags and inboxes that make the handoff visible, such as Unassigned, Owned by Alex, Needs founder, and AE handoff.

Understand how accounts and data are shared

A user can access several LinkedIn accounts, though most setups are simply one user, one account.
  • Shared across your organization: tags, templates, and AI prompts.
  • Private by default: access to each LinkedIn account.
  • Two users in the same organization on the same LinkedIn account: the synced conversations, network, invitations, and everything else is shared between them.
  • Two users in different organizations on the same LinkedIn account: nothing is shared.
